ANSYS Productsは、構造解析、流体解析、電磁場解析、音響解析、連成場解析を統合した大規模汎用有限要素解析ソフトウェアです。有限要素解析ソフトウェアの世界最大手ANSYS社が開発し、Pro/Engineer, NASTRAN, Alogor, I-DEAS, AutoCADなど、ほとんどのCADソフトとインターフェースしてデータの共有・交換が可能で、現代の製品設計のための先進CAEツールの1つである。現代の製品設計において最も先進的なCAEツールの一つです。そのため、航空宇宙、自動車、バイオメディカル、橋梁、建築、エレクトロニクス、重機、マイクロエレクトロメカニカルシステム、スポーツ用品などの産業分野で使用することができます。

本ソフトウェアは、前処理モジュール、解析・計算モジュール、後処理モジュールの3つの主要コンポーネントで構成されています。　プリプロセッシングモジュールは、強力なソリッドモデリングとメッシングツールを提供し、ユーザーが簡単に有限要素モデルを構築することを可能にします。　解析・計算モジュールには、構造解析（線形解析、非線形解析、高度非線形解析）、流体解析、電磁場解析、音場解析、圧電解析、複数物理場の結合解析があり、様々な物理媒体の相互作用をシミュレーションすることができ、感度解析や最適化解析の機能も備えています。　ポスト処理モジュールでは、計算結果をカラーコンター表示、グラデーション表示、ベクトル表示、粒子流跡、3次元スライス、透明・半透明表示（構造体の内部を見ることができる）などで表示できます。また、計算結果をグラフや曲線の形で表示したり、エクスポートすることも可能です。　100種類以上のセルが用意されており、工学分野におけるさまざまな構造物や材料のシミュレーションを行うことができます。このソフトウェアはいくつかの異なるバージョンがあり、PCからPC、SGI、HP、SUN、DEC、IBM、CRAYなどのメインフレームまで幅広いコンピュータ装置で動作させることができます。
