The LocateXT ArcGIS for Server Tool software is powerful commercial technology for analyzing unstructured documents and extracting place names, geocoordinate data, and other critical information. Along with robust coordinate recognition and identification of custom-defined place names, other crucial data is extracted such as reference text and document temporal information. Process many types of documents (Microsoft® Word, PowerPoint®, Excel®, Adobe® PDF, HTML, XML, text) and send the results directly to geospatial layers in the ArcGIS platform for further analysis.
