Eplan API 2.7. This application offers you an efficient possibility to implement individual functionalities in your own company on the basis of the EPLAN Platform and thus to further increase the workflow and system integration. As a key component in engineering EPLAN provides highly efficient project editing highly rationalized through automatisms through individual customizing to your special tasks. Providers of interfaces and engineering solutions in the EPLAN environment can open up additional market opportunities through the creative implementation of own application ideas on the basis of the EPLAN API. 

EPLAN API offers you the possibility to add functionality to EPLAN and to integrate it into your company operations. Using the EPLAN API you can program add-ins as well as offline applications. The generation of add-ins allows you to enhance EPLAN by new functions and to directly insert them into the EPLAN user interface. If you use offline applications, you can employ EPLAN functionalities in your own programs. To this end, EPLAN API puts a number of functions at your disposal to allow you to navigate through the EPLAN data model and directly access the objects of an EPLAN project. You can for instance generate, edit, and delete projects, pages, macros, and functions.

A unified, and especially high-performance, programming interface (API, Application Programming Interface) is available for the products EPLAN Electric P8, EPLAN Fluid, EPLAN Pro Panel and EPLAN Preplanning.

The programming interface is based on Microsoft's current ".Net 4.5.2" technology and thus offers an open, future-proof and high-performance development platform.
