HEXTRAN heat-transfer simulation software offers features that enable you to easily evaluate complex design and rating of heat exchangers.
HEXTRAN, powered by the SIM4ME common modeling environment, is the core heat transfer technology for SimSci products. HEXTRAN has a Java-based graphical user interface with an HTML help system that enables the production of standard TEMA exchanger data sheets in either HTML and Excel formats. It also offers superior post-processing displays and plots results from network targeting, grand composite curves and zone analysis exercises.
HEXTRAN provides new efficiencies in all types of design and operational analysis work, such as individual exchanger and network designs, pinch analysis, exchanger zone analysis, split flow, area payout and cleaning cycle optimizations. 

 

- Invensys SimSci-Esscor INPLANT 4.3.0


INPLANT is a powerful, fluid flow simulator for designing, rating, and analyzing plant piping systems. Engineers can quickly rate and analyze the safety of plant piping systems using INPLANT. INPLANT also enables the design of new piping systems or the upgrade of a wide variety of existing piping systems.
Applications range from simple, single pipe sizing and rating calculations to large, multiphase fluid piping networks with complex, nested-loop topology. Relief system problems involving networks with single or multiphase fluids at high velocities or in critical flow can also be solved using INPLANT.
INPLANT helps engineers quickly identify the cause of poor hydraulic performance in process piping systems and aids in formulation of cost-effective solutions.

- Invensys SimSci-Esscor PIPEPHASE 9.6.0

PIPEPHASE provides a comprehensive and rigorous modeling capability for steady-state, multiphase flow simulation that flows in oil and gas gathering networks and pipeline systems. It offers the power and flexibility to model applications ranging from single well sensitivity analyses of key parameters, to a multi-year planning study for an entire production field.
PIPEPHASE uses proven solution algorithms, modern production methods and software analysis techniques to create a robust and efficient oil field design and planning tool. With an extensive physical property data bank, PIPEPHASE covers the complete range of fluids encountered in the petroleum industry, including single phase or black oil, as well as compositional mixtures. The software may also be applied to single-component steam or CO2 injection networks. 

- Invensys SimSci-Esscor PRO/II version 9.2

PRO/II process simulation software is a steady-state simulator enabling improved process design and operational analysis. It is designed to perform rigorous heat and material balance calculations for a wide range of chemical processes.
Spanning oil & gas separation to reactive distillation, PRO/II offers the chemical, petroleum, natural gas, solids processing and polymer industries the most comprehensive process simulation solution available today.
PRO/II has recently integrated with Spiral Crude Suite. Integration between SimSci & Spiral Software products extends the coverage of the refining value chain that Invensys can provide. This collaboration provides accurate crude feedstock information to process design simulations to greatly increase the accuracy of the models.
