CAE is now an essential tool in design and development for manufacturers. Computer Fluid Dynamics (CFD), is the most complexed calculation which requires time in CAE. Expectation towards CFD is to get complexed phenomenon solved with high accuracy in high speed.

scFLOW has succeeded almost all the features of SC/Tetra with higher speed and more accuracy. With a new function of Discrete Element Method (DEM), scSTREAM has enabled to calculate behavior of particles or powder in fluid, including the interactions among particles such as solid particles in a fluidized bed.

This version has been enhanced for integration with MSC Software products. MSC Co-simulation provides seamless co-simulation with Marc or Adams, which will be released later this year.

SC/Tetra is general purpose thermo-fluid simulation software using hybrid mesh to represent the surface shape with high accuracy. Its characteristics include sophisticated mesh generation system, high speed computing, low memory consumption, and user-friendly features throughout the operation. You can obtain simulation results in a short time without stress.

An unstructured mesh is created using tetrahedron, pentahedron, hexahedron, and/or polyhedron elements. This allows for a mesh that represents the model with high accuracy. As a result, unstructured mesh is used for applications where precise representation of the geometry is crucial. Examples of applications that benefit from an unstructured mesh include vehicle aerodynamics, flow inside duct parts, and turbomachinery.
