MicroStation CONNECT Edition Update 7

- Bing Maps Background Map
MicroStation now simplifies use of Bing Map data for CONNECTED users. You can set the background maps from the View Attributes dialog in the Background Map section. The simplified method allows a street map, aerial imagery, or hybrid imagery (streets and street names superimposed on aerial imagery) to be used as a background for any 2D or 3D design model that has a Geographic Coordinate System attached.
- LumenRT in Designer Mode
Bentley LumenRT CONNECT Edition Update 3 in Designer mode is now installed as a Companion Application. This application does not require a separate license and is available to all CONNECT subscribers.
- Data Interoperability
Support for opening and saving Autodesk RealDWG TM 2018 file format.
Support for import and export of SketchUp 2016 and 2017 files.
- i-Model Publishing Enhancement
The Publish i-Models dialog now provides an option to select various versions of i-Model to publish.
- Issue Resolution Service Enhancements
[Technology Preview] View details, attachments and comments in a detail grid when hovering over a punch list.
[Technology Preview] Ability to create a new punch list item.
[Technology Preview] Right click options in the punch list allow for Open, Show Attachments, Show Comments, Locate and Capture the Screen.
- Productivity Enhancement
Place Active Line Terminator now maintains association of the cell with the element when element is moved or rotated.

Ability to create custom line styles by repeating raster images.
- [Technology Preview] - Edit Item
Ability to Edit Item directly from a the Edit Item dialog when right-clicking on an element with an item type(s) attached to it.
- [Technology Preview] - Circular Profile Extrusion Tool
You can now extrude an element to create a tubular solid or surface using the Solid by Extrusion Along Path and Surface by Extrusion Along Path tools respectively..
