Siemens Quality Planning Environment (QPE) 13.0.0

Siemens Quality Planning Environment (QPE) 13 is an industry-specific software solution that enables quality planning engineers to ensure airframe designs are manufactured properly from the released engineering CAD data. 

Though model-based definition offers a number of design advantages (including reduced time-to-part and more efficient communication), it also creates unique challenges for downstream users of the design data, particularly quality engineers. These engineers need new tools within the 3D CAD environment that enable their quality processes to be used and, if desired, allow for creation of quality plans from within a digital 3D viewing environment. The Quality Planning Environment (QPE) makes the process of defining characteristics and creating inspection items, and moving them into quality plans for inspection, faster and easier than traditional approaches.

NOTE: The inspection process searches for objective evidence that allengineering, design and specification requirements are understood, accounted for, verified and recorded in the system.
