FTI Sculptured Die Face 3.0

 design, simulation, planning and costing of sheet metal components, Sculptured Die Face 3.0, is a unique tool for creating punch face, addendum and die face geometry for a number of applications including:

- Blank size and cost estimating
- Process planning
- Simulation purposes

A free form sculpting approach is used to create the punch opening line and resulting addendum geometry, resulting in a fast, flexible and easy approach to die face design. Complete die faces can be created in minutes, providing a practical means of producing more accurate data for costing and early feasibility. Unlike other CAE related die face tools on the market today, Sculptured Die Face is a surface-based geometry tool, not a mesh based tool.
