MicroStation v8i (SELECTseries 3) update 2. In addition to the extensive improvements that were introduced in the initial release of MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 3) this update includes important enhancements and fixes that will be useful to all MicroStation users.

MicroStation PowerDraft is a professional-level application used for production 2D/3D drafting and detailing. PowerDraft provides an intuitive interface for creating, editing, and manipulating drawings and models in DGN or DWG format and is completely integrated with all Bentley solutions.

New capabilities in Update 2 include:

- Support for the Windows 8 operating system
- Autodesk RealDWG 2014 support
- Support for ProjectWisePoint cloud streaming
- Rhino v5 support
- A selection of resolved issues that have been requested via the Service Ticket Manager

It is important to note that this Update will replace existing MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 3) installations as an upgrade on your workstation, and that it is completely compatible with existing MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 3) applications that are already installed. There will be no need to upgrade those applications as they are fully supported with the new version of MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 3).
